DIY Tongue and Groove Pine Board for Walls

Redecorating a room or the whole house is something fun to do. You can repainting the wall or change your wallpaper to give new vibes to the house. Another option, you can turn your room to look more natural with wooden decorations within. Installing Tongue and Groove Pine board for walls will be perfect for the natural concept. First reason is because it is easy to install. If you had already wooden floor, then it will match with the flooring concept of yours, as the pattern on the pine will give more natural atmosphere to the house. You can install it half size of the wall, or full on the wall, depend on your liking.

Before installing Tongue and Groove Pine board for your walls, there are some additional materials you need to prepare. Those are framing nailer, which you need for nailing the board on the wall in fast way. Then, do not forget to prepare saw too for cutting the board into shape, especially for cutting board for the corner part which mostly shorter than other board size. Then caulk and caulking gun for attaching the board, and wall paint, and it brush.

First step, trim the both sides of the wall with the nail gun to make the installation of  Tongue and Groove Pine tidier in the edge part. Then, you can continue by lining the board on the wall one by one, and attach it with the caulk. You can begin from the top part of the wall or from the beneath part of it. There might be some plank board which the size doesn’t fit to the wall. Then, you need to measure it before hand and cut in to fit into the space. The last, paint the wood wall to make it shiner. It is better to paint it with furnish painting rather than colorful painting, in order to show off the natural wood pattern.
